Corrine (Corky) Magdalene Baroldy

Posted

Corrine was born in Miami, Arizona, to Frank and Tillie Baroldy, where she grew up and spent most of her life. She was a devoted mother to her two children, daughter, Charmaine (Richard) Trujillo of Mesa and son, Eric (Angie) Baroldy of Mesa, and a proud grandmother to five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Her family was her greatest joy.

As a dedicated homemaker, Corrine devoted her life to caring for those she loved. She was the primary caregiver for her parents in their later years—her father, after becoming an amputee, and her mother, who battled Alzheimer’s. With unwavering love and selflessness, she cared for them both for many years, never once dwelling on the hardship. Later in life, she found great joy in helping raise her grandchildren and watching them grow.

Corrine had a vibrant spirit and a deep love for music and dancing. In her younger years, if there was a dance or a party, she was always there! She cherished time with friends, enjoyed reading suspenseful novels, and loved watching classic western movies.

Lovingly known as Corky, she was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Tillie Baroldy, her brother, Frank Baroldy, and her sister, Lillian Valdivia and survived by her sister, Rosemary Trujillo.  While she will be dearly missed, we take comfort in knowing she is joyfully reunited with her loved ones, dancing once again.
