Saturday morning, the parking lot outside Copper Cities Coffee in Globe was filled with vehicles as the Globe Cars & Coffee Group welcomed visitors to their monthly meet, hosted by Copper Cities, to stop and check out the cars while enjoying a java.
Justin Price, Globe Cars & Coffee’s founding chairman, said they have been holding the monthly meets since last August. The group also hosts charity events for the local community. “We’re just a charity group,” said Price. “Anything that we earn, we put back into the community.”
“We like setting these up. It’s all about showing off your ride, it doesn’t matter if it’s showroom, meeting new people, connecting with the community, trying to give back to the community,” said Globe Cars & Coffee President Lance Gilliland. “It’s just something for people to do on the weekends – come and hang out, meet some good people, have some good coffee.”
