On Friday night the San Carlos High School Braves varsity football team traveled to St. Johns for a section game versus the St. Johns High School Redskins, where they fell to the home team 49-7. No game statistics were available at press time.
The Braves now have a 2-5 overall record and are 1-2 in Section 2A Black, where they stand in fifth place. Their next game will be Friday night, Oct. 18, hosting the 3-3 Miami High School Vandals in another section matchup; the Vandals are 2-1 in Section 2A Black.
