Gila County — Recycling bins are a free service to the Gila County residents, but their is a crew at Russell Gulch Landfill that has to sort through the big green recycling bins.
There has been an increase of items that do not belong in the bins and to make it easier to understand a video PSA about what should go in the bins and what shouldn’t is now available.
Here’s the link to the PSA for the green bins if you’d like to view it: https://www.facebook.com/gilacountygovernment/videos/495564304149772/
The blue recycling bins do also have to be dumped at the landfill and that video can be viewed online as well at: https://www.facebook.com/gilacountygovernment/videos/497443293961873/
