A longtime resident of Tempe, Vida W. Bernard left us on July, 13, 2020.
She is survived by her sister Vesta Lund, nieces Charolyn Lund Mize, Carolyn Lund Haskin and nephew Robert C. Lund.
Vida was born on Jan. 17, 1930 to Harry H. and Mary A. Wilhite in Highway, New Mexico. She moved to Miami, Ariz. in 1943, graduated Miami High School in 1946, Undergraduate UA 1954, Graduate degrees from ASU and UC Bolder. She was a teacher and Head Librarian at McClintock High School for 37 years.
