GLOBE-MIAMI — The Patriot Pen essay is a VFW-sponsored youth essay competition that gives students in grades 6-8 an opportunity to write essays expressing their views on an annual patriotic theme. This years VFW Patriots Pen Scholarship Post level winners were 1st place Angel Termain and 2nd place Ezmee Lem. Angel Termain went on to represent District 6 at the VFW State Banquet on Jan. 20 and placed 3rd.
