MIAMI — Barney Radke is heading this years Miami Vandals Football team with the assistance of Elton Dalmolin, Greg Marine, Joe Paul Cruz, and Rich Kruger. Emilio Rocha, Brock McGill, and a few others also help where needed during practice.
The team has majority of younger students which will help build the program up. There is a lot of talent with the returning players who are now seniors and Radke is satisfied with where they are with experienced players. The numbers aren’t as big as they have been in the past years, but as long as the Vandals stay healthy and without injuries, they should have a good season.
The Vandals have an 11 game season with six of them being at home.
Miami will travel to Pima Friday, Aug. 18, Alchesay Friday, Aug. 25 and Globe Friday, Sept. 1.
The first home game will be Friday Sept. 8 against San Manuel.
