MIAMI — Miami Vandals beat Superior, Ray, and San Manual so far in January. Superior fell 68 to 33 on Jan. 5. Top scorer was Andre Pierce with 15 points followed by Jayden Goss with 14 points, and Matt Escobedo who sunk 12 points worth. The leading rebounder was Chris Ortega who grabbed 12.
In the Ray game Andre Pierce contributed 21 points to the 77 to 41 win, Jayden Goss 13, and Zabriel Saenz, 11. Chris Ortega shown brightly with 10 rebounds, and Ruben Mancha snagged 6.
In the away game at San Manuel, Miami won 79 to 68. Chris Ortega put in the most points with 25, and of course ,Andre Pierce scored high with 21 points. Jayden Goss and Mat Escobedo contributed 7 points each. Zabriel Saenz made 5 assists.
