UPDATE:  The scene has been cleared and all streets have now been re-opened (except for Cedar, which is currently closed for a classic car group that is meeting at the Copper Hen).

Globe Chief of Police Dale Walters told the Silver Belt that this morning's bomb threat was a hoax and the gas leak was due to a connection that has since been fixed.
