Tristan Wayne Burns, “Burnsy”, age 16, of Globe passed away on July 11, 2019. Tristan was born on June 25, 2003 at Cobre Valley Community Hospital in Globe.

Tristan attended Globe High School and was active in a variety of extra-curricular activities. He enjoyed playing football, baseball, and competition cheer. He was also the manager of the basketball team and an active member of the FFA and student council. Tristan was always busy and enjoyed being a part of SYMPT, Boy Scout Troop 101, flag football, little league baseball, and the Boomtown Baggers. He enjoyed outdoor hobbies like skateboarding, riding dirt bikes, fishing, and camping. When he was at home with his family he loved to cook.

Tristan was a devoted New Orleans Saints fan and he loved to watch and play football. Who dat? He was a faithful and dedicated friend and a truly caring young man. He was a great son and the best baby brother ever.

Tristan is preceded in death by his father Troy Burns, grandmother Cynthia Tooley, great-grandmothers Lillian Ruth Burns and June Binkley, and step-grandfather Dale Fischer.

Tristan is survived by his parents, Greg and Charlotte Fischer, sister and brother-in-law Lily (Hall) and Cody Mason, Katy and Larry Hall, Ethyl Fischer, Godparents, Gabby and Robert “Mikey” Bigando, Great Aunt Jonell and Willy Thomas, Margret Brantley, Joe Wayne and Holly Brantley, Stephine and Joel Navarro and family (Tank), Uncle Shawn and Rachael Burns, step-siblings, Jessica and Erik Morgan, Andrea Fischer, Chandra Fischer, and many cousins and bonus family members.

Tristan had a generous heart and would always go out of his way to help others whenever he could. His close friends knew him best as “Burnsy”.

Tristan will be missed dearly by his family, friends, and the entire Globe-Miami community.
