Trap/Neuter/Release Program underway

Posted

The High Desert Humane Society is getting our Trap/Neuter/Release program for feral cats underway. In order to do so we have had to put a lot of money into our big white van to make it safe tor transporting cats and dogs to veterinarians out of town. By a lot of money we mean over $1,000 and this was a big chunk for us to put out. We are asking for help to cover these non-budgeted expenses. Anything you can contribute would be greatly appreciated and is tax deductible.

We have had two nice donations for this TNR program and as it moves forward we will need even more. We anticipate if starting out we can do 20 cats per month this will cost $500 and would be an ongoing expense. Our goal is to trap and alter 10 cats per week until we get the feral cat situation under control so we are aiming high. We have not had a fundraiser this year so we are asking you, our community, for help. We appreciate the support you have always given us. Without you our organization would not exist.
