Tony P. Garcia, age 75, of Globe, Arizona passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2020 at his residence.
He was born in Poza, Sonora, Mexico on May 23, 1945, the son of Marco Antonio Garcia and Maria Beatrice (Pena) Garcia.
He attended Globe High School and worked for Inspiration Copper Company for 30 years.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time outdoors. Tony served his country proudly in the National Guard.
He is preceded in death by his parents Marco and Beatriz Garcia and his granddaughter Shaina Anela Colvin, and is survived by his children Mercedes Cloud, of Prescott Valley, Az., Connie Colvin, of Prescott Valley, and Ann Marie Rucker, of Chandler, Az.; his siblings Rosemary Williams, of Globe, and Elmer Garcia, of Escondido, Ca.; and three grandchildren Zechariah Colvin, Erik Rucker and Owen Rucker.
A viewing was held on Friday, July 10, 2020 at Lamont Mortuary Chapel and funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 9 a.m. at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Globe.
