The Globe Tiger Wrestlers traveled to Coolidge, Ariz. on Jan. 10 and 11 to participate in the Annual Lion’s Coolidge Wrestling Invitational. The Tigers placed second out of 14 other teams and the kids wrestled extremely well. Tournament officials voted and awarded the Tigers the “Team Sportsmanship Award” for the event. Gabriel Gonzales was also voted for by the teams coaches as the “Outstanding light weigh wrestler” for the tournament.

The Globe Tigers suffered one team loss during the championship round to Williams Field.
