On Monday morning, May 1, three Tonto Basin residents were arrested and booked into the Gila County Jail on drug and theft charges.
After receiving information concerning drugs, burglaries and thefts in the Tonto Basin area, the Gila County Sheriff’s Office served multiple search warrants at around 6:30 a.m. that Monday. Three subjects, all of Tonto Basin, were then taken into custody by the Gila County Drug, Gang and Violent Crimes Task Force. The subjects were identified as Kenneth Cline, Jr., 68, Kenneth Cline III, 35 and Patrice Chambers, 64. Each was charged with possession of dangerous drugs, possession of narcotic drugs, theft and possession of drug paraphernalia. Kenneth Cline III was also charged with misconduct involving weapons/prohibited possessor and misconduct involving weapons in a drug offense.
