Theodore C. Watson Sr. (Ted), age 87, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2020, in Cottonwood, Arizona.
He was Born in Miami, Arizona on May 29, 1932, to Elmer & Ruby G. Watson. He married Inez L. Powell on September 27, 1954, in Miami, Arizona. Inez passed away on January 14, 1996. Ted was educated in Miami, AZ.
Theodore worked for Miami Copper, Magma Copper (San Manuel, AZ), Duval @ Esperanza Copper & Molybdenum(Sahuarita, Az), Duval & Molybdenum(Kingman, AZ), before being transferred to Battle Mountain, Nevada, the Summer of 1965, where he worked as Mill Superintendent at Duval’s Copper Canyon operation, which later became Battle Mountain Copper/Battle Mountain Gold, and finally retiring on May 29, 1992.
Ted is survived by his second wife Rose Marie (whom he married on December 4, 2003), his Son Theodore C. Watson Jr. (Diana) of Oregon City, Oregon & Daughter, Tammy Dimitroff (Harry Sr.) of Battle Mountain, Nevada, Grandsons Harry Jr. & Brad Dimitroff of Battle Mountain, Nevada, Great Granddaughter Justyce Dimitroff, of Libby, Montana, Great Grandson Jaden & Great Granddaughter Lillian Dimitroff, of Wallace, Idaho, Niece Ginger Benton, of Arizona.
No Services have been held at this time. The family will be having a small service to celebrate Ted’s Life & for closure, sometime this Summer.
