Globe Active Adult Center update
The center will be closed Dec. 24 and Tuesday Dec. 25 for Christmas Holiday.
Birthday and Christmas party will be on Thursday, Dec. 20 at 10:30 a.m., featuring music with Ron Chesley.
Biscuits and gravy on Wednesdays at 7:30 a.m., $3 per bowl.
Benefits Assistance Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. or call 928-425-8863 or Pinal-Gila Council at 1-800-293-9393. Lunch is served Monday through Friday at 11:45 a.m. Ages 60 and over is $2.50 per meal, under 60, $5 per meal. The Globe Active Adult Center is located at 579 S. Broad St., and the phone number is 928-425-9030.
Thursday, Dec. 20 — Exercise video
Menu: Italian sausage pasta, garden salad, Italian beans with red pepper, garlic bread, pears.
Friday, Dec. 21 — Bingo
Menu: Beef goulash, spinach salad, mixed veggies, wheat bread, Mandarin oranges.
Monday, Dec. 24 — Closed for Christmas.
Tuesday, Dec. 25 — Closed for Christmas.
Wednesday, Dec. 26 — Bingo
Menu: Ham and lima beans, broccoli, biscuit, pineapple upside-down cake.
All meals served with 2 percent milk.

Miami Senior Center update
MIAMI — The Miami Senior Center at 506 W. Live Oak St. offers lunch Monday through Friday. Call 928-473-4190. The suggested donation is $2.
Thursday, Dec. 20 — Bingo 10:30 a.m.
Menu: Hot roast beef sandwich, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, plums.
Friday, Dec. 21 — $2 Biscuit and gravy, Coffee Club, 8 a.m., Karaoke, 10:30 a.m.
Menu: Bean burro enchilada style, Mexican corn, spinach salad, Spanish rice, pineapple.
Monday, Dec. 24 — $2 Biscuit and gravy, Coffee Club 8-10 a.m.
Menu: Turkey and stuffing candied yams, peas and carrots, roll, banana.
Tuesday, Dec. 25 — Closed for Christmas.
Wednesday, Dec. 26 — $2 Biscuit and gravy, Coffee Club 8-10 a.m.
Menu: Deviled pork chop, sweet potatoes, broccoli and cauliflower, roll, peaches.
All meals are served with 1 percent milk.
Miami Senior Center cannot deliver homebound meals without authorization from a case manager. Many people believe that they just have to call the center to receive a meal, but they must be referred through Pinal-Gila Council for Senior Citizens. Call 1-800-293-9393.
