Globe Active Adult Center update
Birthday party and valentine’s party on Feb. 14 at 10:30 a.m., music with Ron Chesley. The center will be closed on Monday, Feb.18 for the President’s Holiday. Stretch and flex at 9:20 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. Biscuits and gravy on Wednesdays at 7:30 a.m. $3 per bowl. Benefits Assistance Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. or call 928-425-8863 or Pinal-Gila Council at 1-800-293-9393.
Lunch is served Monday through Friday at 11:45 a.m. Ages 60 and over is $2.50 per meal, under 60, $5 per meal. The Globe Active Adult Center is located at 579 S. Broad St., and the phone number is 928-425-9030.
Thursday, Feb. 14 — Exercise/stretch and flex.
Menu: Italian sausage pasta, garden salad, beans and red pepper, garlic bread, apricots.
Friday, Feb. 15 — Bingo and crafts.
Menu: Chicken salad sandwich with lettuce, tomato and onion, spinach salad, wheat bun, melon fruit.
Monday, Feb. 18 — President’s Holiday
Closed
Tuesday, Feb.19 — Exercise/stretch and flex.
Menu: Ham and lima beans, broccoli, biscuit, pineapple upside-down cake.
Wednesday, Feb. 20 — Bingo and ceramics.
Menu: Salisbury steak with gravy, scalloped potatoes, pea and carrots, wheat roll, tropical fruit.
All meals served with 2 percent milk.

Miami Senior Center update
The Miami Senior Center at 506 W. Live Oak St. offers lunch Monday through Friday Call 928-473-4190. The suggested donation is $2.
Thursday, Feb. 14 — Valentine’s celebration with entertainment
Menu: Polish sausage with sauerkraut, parslied potatoes, mixed vegetables, mixed fruit.
Friday, Feb. 15 — Coffee Club, 8-10 a.m., 2 p.m. casino night at Miami High School
Menu: Fish fillet, coleslaw and baked potato peach slices, wheat roll.
Monday, Feb. 18 — Closed
Tuesday, Feb. 19 — 10:30 a.m. The Price is Right
Menu: Oven baked breaded chicken, ranch style beans, baked potatoes, orange, wheat roll.
Wednesday, Feb. 20 — Coffee Club, 8-10 a.m., $2 Biscuit and gravy
Menu: Cheeseburger, potato wedges, 3-bean salad, melon mix.
All meals are served with 1 percent milk.
Miami Senior Center cannot deliver homebound meals without authorization from a case manager. Many people believe that they just have to call the center to receive a meal, but they must be referred through Pinal-Gila Council for Senior Citizens. Call 1-800-293-9393.
