Rose Baca’s Preschool learns during field trips

Posted

The students of Rose Baca’s preschool enjoyed two field trips during the month of April.

The first trip was to the post office where Mr. B showed the children how mail is sorted and delivered. He explained that mail delivery is done different today than it was in prior years.

Today the mail is delivered more efficiently by air.

The children then enjoyed treats of cookies and juice that were provided at the end of the trip.

The students’ second field trip was to Mountain View Dentistry, where the children received a tour of the dental place.

Amber Jarvis showed and explained how the dental x-ray machine is used, she showed them how to take care of teeth on a daily basis.

She also showed the children how the dental chair is adjusted for the dentists to do their work. The children enjoyed taking turns sitting on the chair as it was elevated and slowly brought back for another child to enjoy the fun experience.

At the end of the tour, the students were given a gift bag with all the necessities to perform daily mouth hygiene.
