Rev. Allen Early, 77, Peridot, Arizona passed away May 1, 2018 at Villa Hospice in Mesa, Arizona. He was born June 9, 1940 in San Carlos, Arizona to Joseph Early and Cora Steele.

Rev. Early received his Doctorate of Divinity from Southwest Indian Bible College in Flagstaff, Arizona. Preaching the Gospel across United States, Mexico, Canada and Alaska. He was a Speaker at The Billy Graham Crusade held at Arizona State University, a member of Bible Studies By Mail, Las Cruces, New Mexico and the American Indian Crusade.

Rev. Allen was a former Vice Chairman of San Carlos Apache Tribe. During his tenure, he was invited by President Jimmy Carter to speak at the Presidential Prayer Breakfast, he spoke at House of Representative and U.S. Senate, traveled and joined Charles (Chuck) Colson, International Prison Ministry.

He appeared in a television series called “Unsolved Mysteries” and Geronimo, and American Legend; a life story of Rev. Early called “Apache Fire” by Ken Anderson.

Rev. Early is survived by his wife, Cecilia Early, his sisters Lucinda James, of Kansas City, Missouri, Seraphina Early, of San Carlos.

From a life of prison to a life of success, Rev. Allen Early did what God called him to do. “Go and preach the Gospel to all.” Well done thy good and faithful servant.

A wake was held on Friday, May 11, 2018 at the Seraphina Early residence.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Burdette Hall in San Carlos.
