Registration for Washington, DC and NYC trip now underway

John Yanez has organized a trip to Washington, D.C. and NYC. The trip is set for June 16-21, 2019. The trip will cover many of the highlights of both cities.

While in Washington, DC we will tour the Capitol, the Lincoln Memorial, the WW II, Korean and Vietnam Memorials. We will also visit Arlington National Cemetery (including the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier), Mount Vernon (plantation home of George and Martha Washington) and the historic town of Alexandria.

During the tour we will also spend time at the Smithsonian Complex, as well as other sites.

The NYC portion of the tour will include the Empire State Building, a trip on a ferry to view the Statue of Liberty and a stop-over at Ellis Island (entrance for millions of immigrants). In Lower Manhattan, we will visit the One World Trade Center as well as the 9/11 Memorial. Time Square, St. Patrick’s Cathedral and other sites will also be included. Before departing NYC, we will enjoy a final Panoramic bus tour of the city with special stadium seating so that everyone has a great view.

The trip will cost $3,500 per person which includes airfare, hotels and some of the meals. The trip is led by a professional tour guide and we will have our own private motor coach. The trip will be at a leisurely pace since it is an adult trip.

Students can go on the tour as long as they are accompanied by a parent or grandparent (the cost will be the same as for an adult).

The trip has room for 25 people and presently is half full, so anyone who is interested in the trip and would like to receive information to register, contact Yanez at 928-425-4933.
