Rachel grew up in Globe at the Stock Yards Family Ranch. She loved her horse, Blackie, whom she rode daily.

She started a family and decided to move to Deming, New Mexico where she worked in a small diner and met Rudy Mariscal.

After a few years she decided to move back to Arizona to continue making a family with Rudy. They enjoyed spending time at the American Legion Hall, including long evening walks with the six kids.

She retired in June of 2015, making a life with Ray. They enjoyed several road trips across Arizona, including spending long hours at the casinos.

She loved to shop, including online shopping. QVC was always on in the bedroom TV.

Rachel loved going on long evening walks with her daughters collecting colored rocks.
