Nizhoni Pike has gone out for both cross-country and track, but cross-country is her favorite. Her favorite subject is mathematics because she likes problem solving and because it seems simple to her. She likes the spirit of Globe High School. “Everybody is so involved.” She also likes Globe because the teachers are caring and taught her and her classmates a lot academically and in life lessons. Her favorite sports memory is of running in the rain at the recent meet at Cobre Valley Country Club golf course. After graduation, she will attend Mesa Community College and then transfer to ASU to major in American Indian Studies.
