Kerrie Rumsower is a sophomore member of the Miami Cheer Squad. It’s not just her favorite, it’s her only sport. A favorite sports memory is of sitting in a circle with her teammates holding hands, and then laughing and crying after her school name was called out as qualifying for the State Tournament, which will happen on Feb. 2, 2018. Her favorite subject is mathematics because it is easy for her and she understands “what’s going on.” She likes the town of Miami because “Everything is close knit and if you need something, someone is always there for you.” She Likes her high school because “If you are interested in something, you can really pursue it. There’s nothing holding you back.” After graduation, she plans to join the Air Force.
