Paul Logan Nosie, Jr., age 67, of San Carlos, Az passed away on January 3, 2018 at Banner University Medical Center in Phoenix, Az.

He was born in San Carlos, Az on March 23, 1950 to Elvera and Paul Nosie, Sr. 

Paul graduated from Globe High School. After high school he worked at the Tribal Service Station. Then, he accepted the challenge of becoming a D.P.S. Patrolman.

During his D.P.S years, Paul became one of the few Native American undercover agents, and saved countless lives while on duty.

Paul retired after 20 year’s of service. He then worked as the Director of the San Carlos Game and Fish Department, and as the first Administrator of the San Carlos Adult/Juvenile Detention Center.

Paul will be remembered for his humor, big and tall stature, his spirituality, love for sports, love for the outdoors and especially love for his family.

He was preceded in death by his father Paul L. Nosie, Sr. and his mother Elvera Nosie. 

Paul is survived by his daughters; Dorine Nosie, Mary King, Thelma Beatly and Leigh Nosie, his 15 grandchildren and two Great-grandchildren.

Wake was held on Friday, January 12, 2018 at 4 p.m.. at the Nosie residence in San Carlos, Az.

Funeral Services were held on Sat. January 13, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Burdette Hall in San Carlos, Az.

Interment was at Holy Ground Cemetery/Seven Mile Wash Cemetery.
