GLOBE — Patrick W. Emery, Jr., 53, passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at home in Globe, after a life long fight with a genetic disease.

He was born in Scottsdale, and lived in Arizona most of his life. As a young child, during the Vietnam War Patrick’s father was an Army helicopter pilot and was stationed at several bases in Texas and Alabama. He also lived in Los Lunas, New Mexico some years later.

He was a professional truck driver and drove for B.J. Cecil Trucking, J & B Trucking and also drove over the road. His passions were many: big trucks, motorcycles, (Harleys especially) travel, being outdoors camping, shooting, riding his ATV, and animals especially dogs and horses. He was an avid reader and loved history, especially military history and had a great respect and appreciation for those that serve.

Patrick is preceded in death by his father Patrick Emery Sr., and his brother Robert Emery.

He is survived by the love of his life of 25 years, Becky Noth; his mother, Lois Shay (Jim Shay, Sr.); his brothers, Jimmie Shay, Jr. (Sonia), Michael Emery (Judy), Timothy Emery (Barbara), Tim Vann (Dawn); his sisters, Shannon Petrak (Bill) and Dawn Seekamp (John); stepmother, Peggy Udall (Fred); and many nephews, nieces and friends that loved him dearly.

He is now in God’s loving care. All that knew Pat knew Pat. We will miss his always happy smile, free fearless spirit, go anywhere do everything personality. He loved life and lived it to the fullest and beyond. Pat “Everyday is a holiday!”
