Patricia Ann Nelssen of Roosevelt, Arizona passed away on June 9, 2021 with her family by her side. She was born in Jefferson, Iowa on July 31, 1945 to Verle “Bud” and Bonnie Johnson. She came to Arizona in 1960 with her parents and three siblings. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Fred Nelssen; her four children Shelly Holeman from Apache Junction, Cheryl (Billy) Medlin from Snowflake, Dodie Nelssen from Scottsdale and Freddie Nelssen from Roosevelt; her grandchildren Andrew, Eric, Ayla (Justin), Ethel, Kaylee and Gavin; her siblings Marcia (Alan) Torgerson from Mesa, Rick (Becky) Johnson from Florence and Cindy (Dave) Bradford from Payson; her uncle Ivan (Ardys) Lindell from Sun City and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by both of her parents. Pat loved her family and friends and enjoyed spending time outdoors with them. In her later years she enjoyed working at the Tonto National Monument and loved cheering for her favorite team, the Arizona Diamondbacks. A Celebration of Life will be planned for later this year.
