Noreen Ethel (Larson) (Thraen) Patterson was born on September 16, 1928, in Miami, Arizona, to the late Virginia Trethewey and the late Ivan V. Larson.

She grew up in the Globe-Miami area with her mother and stepfather, Frank Thraen.

She attended Lower Miami Elementary School and graduated from Miami High School in 1946. She began a banking career at the Valley National Bank of Arizona in Miami. She later transferred to Phoenix where she worked for some 25 years.

Noreen was the beloved wife of Robert H. Patterson, a U.S. Army Korean War veteran, who passed away in July, 2017, as well as the late Capt. Joseph A. (Jake) L’Huillier who was killed in action in 1968 while serving in the USAF in Vietnam.

She attended Arizona Community Church in Tempe, Arizona. Noreen loved music.

She was a soloist for many events and played the piano and accordion.

Noreen passed away at age 89 on April 3, 2018, in Tempe, Arizona.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Frank W. Thraen, Jr.

Noreen is survived by her sisters Cheryl Thraen Kelly and Marilyn Thraen Brewer as well as many nieces and nephews.
