Assistance with nominations is available by calling the committee secretary, Jim Phillips at 480-671-6231. Nominations for 2018 must be received no later than July 16, 2018.

The criteria for induction are set forth on the nominations forms, which differ from area to area, but all forms must include the name, address, telephone number and signature of the nominator as well as the name and current of the nominee, or that of surviving family members if the nominee is deceased. In addition, the nomination may include letters of recommendation or support, newspaper clippings, magazine articles and any other information that substantiates the accomplishments and contributions of the nominee. If possible, a suitable photograph of the nominee should be included.

Unlike many other halls of fame, the GHS Hall of Fame does not restrict itself to athletic achievement. Rather it welcomes nominations of individuals who have achieved distinction in the arts, in academic pursuits, or in Community service as well as in athletics. Moreover, the Hall of Fame Committee recognizes that many potential inductees may qualify, not for just one of these categories, but for a combination of several categories. The category or categories for which the person is nominated must be included on the nomination form. Nominees must have attended school in Globe (not necessarily at GHS), or have served as a teacher, coach or administrator at a Globe School. The GHS HOF committee also recognizes all competitive teams that have excelled in any area.

Nominations for former students, teachers and administrators who were associated with Globe schools during the period from 1970 through 2002, a period that has been under-represented in the GHS Hall of Fame.
