Nadine Lara-Garcia entered into eternal rest February 5, 2018. She was born January 27th, 1939 in Jerome, Az. The daughter of John B. Lara and Lucy Rodriguez Romero.
Nadine graduated from Globe High School in 1957, where she received a Nursing Scholarship. After graduation she attended St. Joseph’s Nursing School in Phoenix, Az. Once she completed the program she worked at Gila General Hospital. Shortly after she moved to Long Beach, CA and started working at Kaiser Hospital. While working at the hospital, she was offered a job working as an Office Manager for 4 Prominent Neurosurgeons and continued working for them for 25 years.
In April of 1966, Nadine returned to Globe and was married at Holy Angels Catholic Church. Once she was married, Nadine resided in California and lived in Long Beach and Garden Grove. In 1996, Nadine relocated back to her hometown of Globe, AZ. where she established her Women’s Clothing Store, Nadine’s Attic. Nadine believed that when we looked good, we felt better about ourselves. Nadine had a talent for making everyone look and feel good.
Nadine was preceded in death by her father John B. Lara and her mother Lucy R. Romero.
Nadine will be Missed and Lovingly remembered by her brother Frank(Stella), nephews Frank Jr., David (Stephanie), and niece Cathy (Dan). Along with her Great Nieces and Nephews Matthew, Alysha, Cheyenne, Danny, and Cian. Nadine will also be fondly remembered by many cousins and friends. Assisting the family; Lamont Mortuary of Globe
