Agencies were busy responding to multiple fires in Miami the previous week with the most recent one Wednesday, March 25. Many 911 calls were received about a structure fire on Mountain View St. in Miami. An officer from Miami Police department arrived on scene and confirmed that it was an actual structure fire.
Tri-City Fire Department, Globe Fire Department, Arizona Department of Public Safety, Gila County Sheriff’s Office, APS and Southwest Gas agencies all responded to the scene.
Tri-City Fire and Globe Fire were able to extinguish the fire with no reported injuries, but the residence was a total loss.
The Miami Police Department would like to inform the of residents of Miami and citizens of the surrounding communities, that there are no other persons of interest being sought in this investigation or any other previous fires Miami has sustained in the previous days, they were all individual incidents.
