I live, work and volunteer in Gila County. I retired after 28 years public service in law enforcement with decades of courtroom experience in testimony, rules and procedures while building professional relationships with judges, attorneys and litigants.
I supervised the Gila County Sheriff’s Office Safe Schools Program, which included three SRO Deputies. My role included teaching law related education to students and staff, keeping our schools safe.
Partnered with Justice Court and Probation implementing a truancy reduction program, brought the We-Tip Crime Reporting Hotline to Gila County, and taught our Gila County youth gun safety with the Eddie Eagle Gun Safety program.
I am the board president for CVIT, Cobre Valley Institute of Technology and “Red for Ed,” working with Globe, Miami, Hayden and San Carlos Schools in partnership with Gila Pueblo College and Central Arizona College to improve our youth’s education opportunities.
Past president ASROA, Arizona School Resource Officers Association. Past president and member of Globe Lions Club. Member Pinal Mountain Elks, American Legion Henry Berry Post 4.
AIA sports official, referee junior and senior high sports in Globe, Miami, Hayden and San Carlos.
