Miami — For eight years Miami Loco has been bringing artists and art appreciators together in the sleepy mining town of Miami, Ariz. Miami Loco is the brain child of the Miami Arts Commission (MAC), a non-profit arts organization in Miami. Created in 2008, MAC’s mission is to revitalize the town of Miami with arts, culture and creativity.
The Miami Loco Arts Festival is a free, all-inclusive art walk held in the springtime in Miami. Miami Loco is an art walk of diverse cultures, all ages and tastes ñ from traditional to contemporary, folk, landscape, genre and multi-media artworks. Come visit art galleries, antique shops, storefronts and studios that are participating with new art installations, music concerts, poetry and stage performances.
The Miami Loco Arts Festival takes place on Friday, April 21 from 6 to 11 p.m., Saturday, April 22 from 11 a.m. to midnight and Sunday, April 23 from noon to 6 p.m. on Sullivan Street in downtown Miami.
The festival is FREE to attend and will host dozens of bands, art shows, vendors and poetry events for young and old alike. Join in the creative spirit, come out to Miami Loco and celebrate the arts with us.
