Miami High School awarded diplomas to 70 Vandals at the school’s 2017 Commencement, which was held Friday evening at Ragus Field. Alexis Followill served as the Master of Ceremonies, and Rebecca Bedolla led the crowd in the Pledge of Allegiance. Arthur Sanchez and Andrew McGarry performed the National Anthem, while the Invocation was given by Abigail Carnahan. Valedictorian Ysabel Elycio, salutatorian Hannah Griego, Chilel Jawara, and Bailey Sexton each gave speeches to the assembled crowd of family members and friends. Kenon Dzera gave the Benediction. Congratulations to the Miami High School Class of 2017!
