On Saturday, Dec. 8, White Mountain Lodge No. 3 Free and Accepted Masons held its annual Clothe a Child at Beall’s Outlet, west of Walmart. The lodge bought clothes for approximately 24 children ages five to 10 years old, in which half were from Globe schools and half were from Destiny School. This program has been held every year for more than 50 years. Dave Johnson was a longtime supporter and upon his passing asked that donation be made to Clothe a Child. The program operates on donations and Beall’s Outlet assisted the by opening one hour before normal business hours and giving discounts on purchases. The program is a charitable tax exempt 501c10.
