Mary L. Peterson-Crow Age 83 of Miami passed away Friday October 19, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born to Sam and Opal Lathrop on May 21, 1935.
Mary was preceded in death by both her parents, her brother Larry Darr and her daughter Lois Carter.
She is survived by her brother Stephen (Tammy) Darr of Miami, her daughters Jullie Mercer of Globe, Debbie Edwards of Miami and her son Guy (Sharon) Peterson of Globe. Her grandchildren Joy (Marcos) Parra-Jimenez, Dawn Martinez, Tracy (Mario) Montiel, Doyle Carter, BJ Carter, Renee (Jerry) Garlinghouse, Gaylynn (Manny) Quintana and Michael (Jacqueline) Peterson; 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter on the way.
Mary was an active member and Officer of Pinal Mountain Elks. She was Past President of Globe Emblem. She also had been a member of Gila County Sheriff Search and Rescue Squad. She worked at the Globe High School cafeteria.
She loved fishing, camping and sewing. Many looked forward to her annual Christmas fudge and peanut brittle.
There will be a Celebration of her Life on Sunday, Nov. 4 at 2 p.m. at the Pinal Mountain Elks Lodge, located at 1910 E. Maple St., Globe. Please come join us. She will be missed by many.
