Mark J. Marcanti, 56, a life-long resident of Globe, Ariz., passed away peacefully in his home on March 12, 2017.

Mark is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Germaine Marcanti; his children, Stephanie (Gabriel) Garcia of Chandler, Ariz., Mark D. Marcanti of Globe, Ariz., and Mary Marcanti and Kelly Marcanti of Chandler, Ariz.; his four grandchildren, Brooklynn Marcanti, Gianna and Roman Garcia, and Aurora Copeland; his siblings, John (Willie) Marcanti of Globe, Ariz., Tom (Kathy) Marcanti of Mesa, Ariz., Claire (Tony) Sapienza of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Larry (Kathy) Marcanti of Allen, Texas.

Mark was a great contributor to the Globe, Miami and San Carlos communities. He was the proud Co-Owner and Operator of Marcanti Electric. He was an active member of the I.B.E.W. for 38 years. He also proudly served as a member on the NECA Southwest Board of Directors, and was past Grand Knight and Faithful Navigator with the Knights of Columbus, Gila County Industrial Development Authority Secretary/Treasurer, and Volunteer Football Coach for the Globe School District.

His greatest joys came from spending time with his family and friends, adventures with his wife, hunting/riding with his son and working in the shop with his brother John. He will be forever remembered for his tireless work ethic, his genuine personality and his undying love for his family. A Celebration of Life was held on Saturday, March 18, 2017.
