Local First Arizona is hosting a networking mixer for local businesses and community members on June 7 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Copper Spike Train Depot, located at 230 S. Broad St., in Globe.

All independent business owners, representatives and community members are invited to attend this free event.

“Unlike your typical mixer, you won’t be shuffling business cards and hoping for leads. Rather, we are in the business of creating meaningful, genuine connections that build trust, loyalty, and business opportunities, said Shelbi Lindesmith, outreach coordinator for Local First Arizona in Globe-Miami. “Each event is carefully curated to bring out the best of Arizona, and connect local businesses in a fun, casual setting.”

Local business owners, representatives and community members can enjoy a night of mixing and mingling while learning all about the local movement taking place in Arizona.

They can also learn about the benefits of joining the Local First Arizona business coalition, the largest statewide local business coalition in North America. Guests will enjoy wine samples from Bruzzi Vineyards and light appetizers while hearing from Local First Arizona Founder Kimber Lanning.

“Making connections is one of the major things that we do at Local First Arizona, and our networking mixers are one of the key ways that we do that,” Lindesmith said. “Attendees of our mixers walk away with great local connections and allies in the local business community.”

More information and registration for the event can be found at localfirstaz.com/events/globe-miami-mixer. Questions regarding the event can be directed to Shelbi Lindesmith at shelbi@localfirstaz.com.
