I have a vested interest in serving on the Globe Unified School District Board: I am a mother of six children, three of whom are currently enrolled in the Globe Unified School District. I am a proud member of our community and am committed to making our schools exceptional. I believe in the value of public education. I will work with teachers, parents and the community to ensure the Globe Unified School District students receive the high-quality education they deserve.

As a Globe Unified School board member, I will help create a safe learning environment where every child has the opportunity to succeed; that has a rich curriculum with diverse electives, advanced placement, career-technical and vocational courses. Fiscal responsibility is paramount to ensure each dollar is spent wisely, benefiting students first. I support a fully funded education and will help play a vital role in keeping our local schools on track, always with the students’ best interests in mind.

Occupation: Parent, Supply Chain Management Director, Community Volunteer, Adult Educator

My education and qualifications are: Masters in Business Administration (MBA); Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Adult Education Teacher Certificate, Boy Scouts of America Troop 5883 Committee Chair.

My education, background and years of experience have given me the tools to understand budgets, and know how to advocate on behalf of educators, students and families. I will diligently work toward retaining and recruiting highly qualified teachers, developing and supporting academic initiatives that will prepare our children for their futures.

I am asking for your vote this November.

Respectfully,

Lisa Brown-Quintero
