MIAMI — The Miami girls basketball team’s season is off to a rough start, as the Lady Vandals suffered two blowout losses last week.
On Nov. 28, Pima defeated Miami, 63-16. Aimee Hockaday led the Lady Vandals with 7 points, while Jessica Garcia scored 4 points and Cynthia Brewer hit the first 3-pointer of her varsity career.
Miami fell 66-19 to Desert Christian on Friday. Hockaday and Garcia each finished with 6 points.
The Lady Vandals travel to Ray on Friday, Dec. 8 game time is 5:30 JV and 7 p.m. Varsity.
