Kristi Lee Compton, age 35, passed away May 19, 2017 at Banner Baywood Hospital in Mesa. She was born on Aug. 10, 1981 in Globe. Kristi lived life to the fullest. She loved going to Workman’s Creek, the Pinals, and the Salt River with family and friends. She loved to travel with her mom to Hawaii, Italy, Rome — every year was a different destination.
She loved her dogs and never left home without them. She had a big heart; if anyone needed help, she lent a helping hand. She dearly loved her daddy-o, as she called her dad.
Her life was complete when she met Vanessa. Survivors are her loving wife, Vanessa; her mother, Janet Statland of Mesa, Ariz.; her father and stepmother, James and Lynn Compton; brother, James Compton; stepbrother, Robert Lopez; sister, Lynn Trujillo; stepsister, Jennifer Riddle; nephews, Koen, Jorden, Matt, Manuel, Jacob and Nickolus; nieces, Valany, Kaylee, and Serena; and grandparents, Jimmy and Violet Compton of Perry, Ohio. Kristi dearly loved all her special friends. Services were held Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Legacy Funeral Home in Mesa, Ariz.
