Kim was born April 19, 1960 in Yuma, Ariz., and passed away on December 22, 2017.
Kim moved into the Miami area in 1971. She loved it here. She graduated from Miami High School in 1979 and met her husband Robert while attending school 39 years ago.
They were blessed with a son, Steve Robert Padgett. Kim loved taking care of her boys.
She faithfully grew her garden every spring and loved the great outdoors. Pinals, Workmans Creek, Roosevelt Lake, the river. You name it she loved it, as long as it got her out in the boonies.
Kim was preceeded in death by her father Jim Borst, mother Claudia, and sister Claudette.
She is survived by her husband Robert Padgett, son Steven, sister Debbie Evan (Billy) and brother Jim (Mary) and granddaughter Eliyana and lots of nephews and nieces whom she loved, and many friends.
Kim, we will miss you, our beloved wife, mom, grandma, aunt, sister in law and friend.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Sweet Haven Canyon Church (Old Globe Canyon Church) 5618 Black Warrior Ave. in Central Heights.
