Dear Editor:
The winner of Clint’s Blue Line BBQ drawing for the South African Hunting Safari donated by NB Safaris is Josiah Amos.
Josiah lives in Whiteriver, but often travels to Globe to work at the local Dialysis Center. Upon learning that his ticket was drawn, Josiah was very excited. He mentioned to me that he purchased raffle tickets really just to support and contribute to the fundraiser, not really expecting to win anything.
We are grateful to those who participated in this raffle, as I know many were like Josiah and did so with no expectation of winning and only did so to help with this project.
The Remembrance Wall will be designed and created with the assistance of Western Reprographics here in Globe.
I would like to offer a special thank you to the Arizona Silver Belt and Copper Country News, as well as Jon from KQSS for all of their help advertising this project. I really do appreciate it!
Clint Taylor
