Jeffrey “Jeff” Massingill, 58 of Globe, Ariz., passed away on Friday, June 13, 2020. He was born  Dec. 15, 1961 in Miami, Ariz. to George and Patricia Massingill. Jeff graduated from Miami High School in 1980. You will also find Jeff’s name in the International Who’s Who for drumming. His fans called him “Animal” or “Jam”. He also sang at many weddings. Sergeant Massingill was a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne. He served in El Salvador and as a company sniper on peacekeeping duty in the Sinai. He served his community as a volunteer Firefighter and Paramedic for Tri City Fire Department in Claypool, Ariz. He worked at the Rod Plant in Claypool as a Boilermaker trying to raise three children.  He was an avid softball and baseball player and coach.

Jeff will be missed. He is survived by his loving wife: Tori, his children: Angela Fuller, Vincent (Sarah) Massingill, Daniel Massingill, Heather (Richard) Laux, his parents, one brother and two sisters also survive him. His grandchildren: Mattie, Rylie, Rae Anna, Lydia, Charlotte, and Hunter will miss their “Papa.”

Family first is the way he lived. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, and papa.

A Celebration of Life has been set for Saturday July 25, 2020 at 2 p.m., Services will be held at Elk Camp on Forest Service Rd 229D, Happy Jack AZ 86024.
