Jeffrey “Jeff” Massingill: 58 of Globe, Ariz. passed away on Friday, June 13, 2020. He was born Dec. 15, 1961 in Miami, Ariz. to George and Patricia Massingill. Jeff graduated Miami High school in 1980. You will also find his name in the Who’s Who for Drumming book. He sang at many people’s weddings. His fans called him “Animal” or “Jam”. He served his country as a E5 Sergeant in the 82nd Airborne in the US ARMY as a peacekeeping duty in the Sinai and El Salvador. He served his community as a volunteer Firefighter and Paramedic for Tri City Fire Department in Claypool, Ariz. He worked at the Rod Plant in Claypool as a Boilermaker trying to raise three children. He was huge softball and baseball coach.
Jeff will be missed. He is survived by his loving wife: Tori, his children: Angela Fuller, Vincent (Sarah) Massingill, Daniel Massingill, Heather (Richard) Laux, one brother and two sisters also survive him. His grandchildren: Mattie, Rylie, Raeanna, Lydia Charlotte and Hunter and numerous nieces and nephews will too miss their “Papa.”
Family first is the way he lived. He was a devoted loving husband, father and papa.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
