GLOBE — Jeff Boyer, 69, passed Saturday afternoon, July 1, 2017 in his home in Globe, Ariz.

Jeff was born May 31, 1948 to Kenneth and Lucille (Kruse) Boyer at the Breckenridge Hospital in Breckenridge, Minnesota. He grew up near Walcott, N.D., and attended the one room Smith School, Walcott School, Kindred High School, Mayville State College and the University of North Dakota at Grand Forks.

Jeff taught mathematics for three years in North Dakota schools and 30 years in Arizona. He was a talented athlete and an avid outdoorsman.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Nancy; two sons, Ty (Mary) of Statesboro, Ga., and Jay (Heather) of Globe; five grandchildren, Clay, Jolee, Grant, Ethan and Logan; his sister, LaVonne Marshall of Fruit Heights, Utah; two brothers, Robert (Eithne) of Portland, Ore. and Andrew (Candace) of Walcott, N.D.; and a number of nieces and nephews, several aunts and uncles, and numerous cousins.

At Jeff’s request, there will be no services. The family asks that in lieu of flowers or memorials, you make a donation to your favorite charity or organization or enjoy a nice meal with loved ones. Assisting the family; Lamont Mortuary of Globe.
