With a heavy heart we acknowledge the passing of our Patriarch – Jasper Kay Jones. Jasper was born on May 6, 1941, and he passed away on Feb. 20, 2021 with family “virtually” by his side in Gilbert, Arizona.
Jasper Kay Jones was the most beloved, selfless, honorable man of God you’d ever meet. He dedicated his life to his family, his friends, his community, and to God. Every day with him was a blessing. Every conversation left you feeling loved and appreciated. He was a man that shared what he had to anyone in need. He touched many people’s lives. His teachings of love and God allowed many to heal and grow in Christ. He was a husband, a father, a brother, a child of God. We will miss you every day.
Jasper Kay Jones was preceded in death by his father Louis Kay Jones, mother Francis Swift Jones, sister Lucinda Jones, brother Leonard Kay Jones, brother Jimmy Kay Jones, brother Lloyd Kay Jones, sister Marianne Jones Goseyun and grandson Marcellus Kay Jones.
He is survived by wife Theresa Isabelle Jones, daughter Marquita Phounsavath (husband Nick) of Doyle, Calif.; son Nathaniel Kay Jones of San Carlos, Ariz.; daughter Karlene Marconi (husband David) of Salem, OR; daughter Jacqueline Gencarelle (husband Aaron) of Flagstaff, AZ; daughter Rachel Blackwater (husband Roland) of Sacaton, AZ; daughter Stephanie Jones-Beckhum (husband Eric) of San Carlos, Ari; son Jason Kay Jones (wife Erica) of San Carlos, Ariz.; sister Evalina Bearhand; grandchildren Terri-Jordan Birt, Alexis Kuno Villalobos, Kaleb Marconi, Jacob Marconi, Khalil Beckhum, Kaylena Beckhum, Cammi Phounsavath, Maleek Daugherty, Trinity Gencarelle, Darkenya Gencarelle, Jasmine Jones, Jada Jones, Jia Jones and Grace Blackwater.
