Jasmin Perez is a sophomore basketball player. She is a center and plays post in defense. She has played since junior high and one of her favorite memories is of the time in junior high when she scored six blocks against a really good team. “That was the time when I really started to love it. And I realized that I could really do something with it if I worked hard.” She likes Miami because its small size enabled her to get help from her teachers more easily. She likes math the best in school because it is not difficult for her. She wants to go to college in order to become a pediatric dentist.
