The High Desert Humane Society would like to thank all who participated in our Community Silent Auction. The merchants listed below donated, for auction, exceptionally nice gifts. Our hope was that by going around to various local merchants to bid it would not only be fun but would encourage local Christmas shopping. We sincerely thank these merchants and hopefully you enjoyed visiting these wonderful stores: Miami Rose, Sullivan Street Antiques, Inspired by Time, Simply Sarah, Pickle Barrel, United Jewelry Company, Turn the Page, Kino Floors Ashley Furniture, Pretty Kind Boutique, Bouquets on Broad, Splash of Copper and HDHS Thrift Store. Each merchant went all out. We also thank the Silver Belt and Copper Country News for placing information and colored pictures in the papers and on their Facebook page. Next year we will try to start earlier, include more merchants and have more widespread information and advertising.
