Heroin Seizure on Highway 60


On December 13, 2017, at approximately 1:32 p.m., Detectives from the Gila County Drug, Gang, and Violent Crimes Task Force conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Highway 60 milepost 255. During the investigation, a search of the vehicle was conducted which resulted in the seizure of 11.2 grams of Heroin, a narcotic drug.

The amount of Heroin seized equaled approximately 57 doses and had a street value estimated at $1,425.00 

As a result of the investigation: Patricia Ann Collins, age 51, of Show Low, Arizona, was arrested and booked into the Gila County Jail for Possession of a Narcotic Drug, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of a Narcotic Drug for Sale.  The Sheriff’s Office is committed to continuing an aggressive stance on the drug problems that impact our communities.
