Henry John Mata, age 36, of Queen Creek, Arizona passed away on Thursday, Sept. 30, 2021 at Banner Ironwood Medical Center in Queen Creek. He was born on Jan. 15, 1985 in Phoenix, Arizona.
Henry was employed by VW Connect as general superintendent. He was happiest in his work life and also had the great opportunity in his career of working beside his brother, Matthew Mata. He cherished
every moment of spending time with his girls and family. He also enjoyed taking Razor rides, shooting with his brother and being a movie buff when hanging out with his girls. Henry was an amazing father to his girls. He absolutely loved spending his days off with them by taking them out riding and they loved trying his new foods. He loved spending holidays and milestones with his family.
Henry was preceded in death by his father, Henry Sedillo Mata.
He is survived by his wife Danielle Mata, son Andrew Aragon, daughters Anessa Thompson, Kambria Mata and Kourtney Mata, sister Patricia Spurgeon, brother Matthew Mata and mother Estefania “Penny” Rivera.
Visitation will be on Friday, Oct. 15, 2021 from 4 – 6 p.m. at Lamont Mortuary of Globe.
Rosary will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021 at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Miami, Arizona. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, also at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament. Interment will follow at Mountain Breeze Memorial Gardens in Miami.
