Help local youth and reduce taxes with donation

‘Tis better to give than to receive, unless it is to the Cobre Valley Youth Club, where the giver and the receiver receive reciprocal benefit.

Donations to the Cobre Valley Youth Club qualify for a dollar-for-dollar taxes, and donors can make sure local young people have a safe place to go after school and when school is out of session.

The Club also helps the local economy by providing an affordable place for parents and caregivers to leave their children while they are working. For many families, the high cost of childcare any other place makes it unfeasible to work.

Keeping those costs low means the Club must have outside support from citizens in this community. An individual donor can donate and claim up to $400, and married filing jointly can donate and claim up to $800 for the Arizona Charitable State Tax Credit.

Now that the end of the year is approaching, this is the perfect time to think about where you want your charitable gifts to go. Why not invest in this community’s future: its youth?

There are several ways to donate. Send a check to the Club at PO Box 2335, Globe, Ariz. 85502, go to www.cobrevalleyyouthclub.com and hit the Donate button or visit the Club at 1435 S. Hagen Rd and make the donation in person. You will receive a receipt and a tax letter to give to your tax preparer. Call 928-793-3926 for more information.
